Malaga-Costa del Sol airport (IATA code: AGP, ICAO code: LEMG), also popularly known as Pablo Picasso Airport, is located 7 kilometers southwest of the city center of Malaga.

It is the most important airport of the Autonomous Community of Andalusia, occupying the fourth place between the Spanish airports and the twenty-second within those of the European Union. It is also considered as the main entrance and exit door of tourism of the famous and tourist Costa del Sol and the rest of Andalusia.

Malaga airport operates with terminals T1, T2, T3, General Aviation terminal and Cargo terminal.

The airport has two runways. The main track has a 13/31 orientation, 3,200x45 meters in length (10,500x148 feet). The second runway operates only at specific times of high air traffic or during the high seasons of the year, and has an orientation 12/30, with 3,090 x 45 meters in length (10,140x148 feet). Both have an elevation of 16 meters / 52 feet above sea level.
